RIAA Platinum dual award for Miranda Lambert's album Revolution and single "The House That Built Me". The album was released on Sept. 29, 2009 and by Oct. 15, 2010 was certified Platinum by the RIAA. Single "The House That Built Me" was certified Platinum on Jan. 31, 2011.

Singles "Dead Flowers", "White Liar," "The House That Built Me," "Only Prettier" and "Heart Like Mine," all charted on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart and the album went to #1 on the Best Country Albums chart. It also won Album of the Year award at the Academy of Country Music Awards and was nominated for Best Country Album at the Grammy awards as well. Detailed Item Description: This RIAA Platinum dual album/single award was made in 2011 making it 10 years old. It is a first presentation award that is presented to a radio industry executive whose name has been obscured in the photos for privacy. A letter of provenance from this executive will be provided with purchase. Provenance letter can be seen in images with executive's name obscured for privacy. Item buyer will receive a non-obscured copy of the letter.

This serial number RIAA hologram award is in Excellent condition complete with original backing paper with The Rite Angle manufacturer's sticker.

Notes on the condition of all vintage RIAA awards like this one: Please do not buy this item if you want a brand new piece of memorabilia. These are historical artifacts from the year they were produced. As a result they may show signs of wear. Frankly, if you see a 20 to 50-year-old award purported to be in 100% perfect condition, it might be too good to be true. After all, an antique should have "good' wear. If not, you might want to question the piece.

As to where they came from, they could have been displayed in record label offices, recording studios, artist manager's offices, radio stations, private collector's homes and yes, of course, possibly the artist's or songwriter's home. Typically, we don't know all the places they may have been over the years other than what we've stated in the description.
