This is a UK Gold record label award thanking a concert promoter for their work on a Chuck Berry tour in 1977. The gold record in this award is Chuck Berry Motorvatin', a greatest hits released in 1977 on Chess Records. Berry famously started out on Chess Records, left for another label in the early 60s, and then returned to Chess for a time in the 70s.
Berry (1926-2018) is of course a legendary figure in rock who influenced everyone from Elvis to the Beatles and beyond with tunes such as "Johnny B. Goode", "Roll Over Beethoven", "Rock and Roll Music", "Maybellene", and "Ding-A-Ling" (his first actual Gold record from the RIAA in 1972). He is the recipient of Grammy Lifetime Achievement award in 1984 and was inducted into Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1986.

Detailed Item Description: This is a UK "gold" record award dated 1977 for a Chuck Berry tour in the UK/Europe in the mid-70s. It is presented to Derek Block, a UK-based concert promoter for over 50 years.
This award is 44 years old but is in Very Good condition, considering its age. There are some minor mars on the frame, slight mottling of the red felt matte, and a very tiny chip out of one corner of the glass.
