Capitol Records for Bob Seger and the Silver Bullet Band album Night Moves. Released on Oct. 22, 1976, the release sold very well for Seger. It featured several hits which garnered a load of airplay including the title track, "Rock And Roll Never Forgets" and "Main Street". It peaked at #4 on the Billboard Top 200 Albums chart and garnered much airplay in Canada and several European countries as well. By 2003 the album was certified 6x Multi-Platinum by the RIAA. (Note that this is not a RIAA award).
It is presented to radio and record executive Lee Abrams, who worked in radio and as a consultant to major record labels and industry companies including Capitol Records, Island Records, XM Radio, MTV and others from the 70s into the 2000s. A notarized letter of provenance from Abrams is included with this award (see image).
