The track appeared on Cardi B's 2021 debut album. Co-writers included Kodak Black (Dieuson Olive), Cardi B (Belcalis Almánzar), Klenord Raphael, Jorden Thorpe, Anthony White, and Laquan Green. Kodak Black was included since an interpolation of his 2017 track "No Flockin" was part of the song. It was released as the lead advance single from Cardi B's 2018 debut album Invasion Of Privacy. The single reached #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, making Cardi B the second female rapper in chart history to reach #1 with a solo track.
Released on June 16, 2017, "Bodak Yellow" was certified Diamond in March 2021 by the RIAA for 10 million copies sold and today sits at 13x Multi-Platinum, and is-- as of 2026-- the second biggest-selling female rap song of all time. The track won Single of the Year at the 2017 BET Hip Hop Awards, Rhythm & Bars Award at the 2017 Soul Train Music Awards, and Favorite Rap/Hip Hop Song at the 2018 American Music Awards.[

Notes on the condition of all vintage awards like this one: Please do not buy this item if you want a brand new piece of memorabilia. These are historical artifacts from the year they were produced. As a result they may show signs of wear. Frankly, if you see a 50-year-old award purported to be in 100% perfect condition, it might be too good to be true. After all, an antique should have "good' wear. If not, you might want to question the piece.
As to where they came from, they could have been displayed in record label offices, recording studios, artist manager's offices, radio stations, private collector's homes and yes, of course, possibly the artist's or songwriter's home.
