RIAA Gold 45 award for Madonna's hit "Like A Virgin" presented to Madonna. This track was released on Oct. 31, 1984. The 45 rpm single was certified Gold by the RIAA on January 10, 1985 for 1 million copies sold.
The title track of Madonna's second album was the first released as a single and became her firsts #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart along with charts in Canada, Japan, and Australia and also did well in most other world territories.

Detailed Item Description: This is a first presentation RIAA Gold award that would have been manufactured sometime in 1985. That makes this award approximately 35 years old. The award is presented to Madonna, a hard to find presentation.
The award is in VG to Excellent condition considering its age and has its original backing paper with New York Frame & Picture Co. sticker. It has some typical minor scratches on the frame.
