JAN 3: Today in 1987, Aretha Franklin became the first woman inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame!
JAN 9: Happy birthday to Jimmy Page, born in 1944! As one of the founders of Led Zeppelin, Page has cemented his rock legend status. The musician, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist has been inducted twice into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Which other band was Page inducted with in 1992?
JAN 10: Five years ago today in 2016, we lost David Bowie due to liver cancer. The singer-songwriter and actor innovated music in the 70s and saw a resurgence in popularity in the 80s. Bowie sold over 100 million records over his career. He was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1996. RIP
