MusicGoldmine.com recently acquired a stellar collection of ZZ Top awards, all presented to and personally owned by late ZZ Top bassist, co-lead vocalist, keyboardist, and songwriter Joe Michael "Dusty" Hill. Hill founded the group with bandmates Billy Gibbons and Frank Beard in 1968 and played an integral part in the group's recordings and live performances for over 50 years until his passing in 2021. The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Foundation have announced their Nominees for 2023 Induction. They are Kate Bush, Sheryl Crow, Missy Elliot, Iron Maiden, Joy Division/New Order, Cyndi Lauper, George Michael, Willie Nelson, Rage Against The Machine, Soundgarden, The Soinners, A Tribe Called Quest, The White Stripes, and Warren Zevon.To be eligible for nomination, an individual artist or band must have released its first commercial recording at least 25 years prior to the year of nomination.  An international voting body of over 1,000 artists, historians, and members of the music industry vote based on factors including "an artist’s musical influence on...

Earlier this month the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Foundation announced their Nominees for 2022 Induction. They are Beck, Pat Benatar, Kate Bush, DEVO, Duran Duran, Eminem, Eurythmics, Judas Priest, Fela Kuti, MC5, New York Dolls, Dolly Parton, Rage Against The Machine, Lionel Richie, Carly Simon, A Tribe Called Quest, and Dionne Warwick.To be eligible for nomination, an individual artist or band must have released its first commercial recording at least 25 years prior to the year of nomination.
