Elvis Presley Aloha From Hawaii Via Satellite RIAA Platinum Album Award presented to Elvis Presley. This album was released on February 1, 1973 and by May 20, 1988 was simultaneously certified both Platinum and 2x Multi-Platinum by the RIAA, the former of which this award celebrates.
The album, which was recorded during Elvis's appearance on a television special, was warmly received and reached #1 on the Billboard Pop and Country Albums chart, also hit #1 in Canada and also did well in other world markets. Detailed Item Description: This RIAA 2x Multi-Platinum award is a first presentation "R hologram" award that would have been manufactured sometime from 1990-97 (most likely early 1990s given 1988 certification date) making it something close to 30 years old. It is presented to Elvis Presley, the rarest and most desirable presentation.
Other than very minor frame and plexiglas mars, the award is in VG to Excellent condition. This award has been rebacked.
