Wayne Newton "Daddy Don't You Walk So Fast" 1972 label sales award. Released in April 1972, the track reached #3 on the Billboard Hot 100 and went to #1 in Australia and Canada. This is a label "gold" award to celebrate the success of the single, which also appeared on Newton's album of the same name. The single was certified Gold by the RIAA in 1972. (Note: This is note a RIAA award).

The plaque on the award reads: "To Mike Randell in appreciation for making "Daddy Don't You Walk So Fast" Wayne Newton a million seller, 1972"

Frankly, if you see a 20 to 50-year-old award purported to be in 100% perfect condition, it might be too good to be true. After all, an antique should have "good' wear.
